In 2024, Vanderbilt’s football team got a huge boost from the NCAA college football transfer portal, as quarterback Diego Pavia, tight end Eli Stowers, tackle Steven Losoya and safety Randon Fontenette, among others, played significant roles in helping turn around the Commodores program.

The UCLA football team can get better ahead of the 2025 season by attacking the transfer portal. They have already secured commitments from 20 transfers, but the Bruins have lost 21 players to the transfer portal as well. The UW football team added some veteran depth at QB from the transfer portal with the commitment of Kai Horton, who spent the past four seasons at Tulane.

Former Tulane QB, Kai Horton, announced that he has committed to transfer to UW. The 6’4” 219 lb QB has one year of eligibility left after playing in 15 games in 4 years at Tulane. Kai played in high school at Carthage High School in Texas.
