Manchester United have secured the signing of Patrick Dorgu from Serie A side Lecce for a fee of £25.2million ($31.2m; €30m) plus £4.2m in add-ons. Dorgu is United’s second signing of the January window after teenage centre-back Ayden Heaven’s arrival from Arsenal was confirmed on Saturday.

Manchester United issued an ultimatum to Patrick Dorgu and Lecce to force his move in the January transfer window, according to the Serie A club’s president. United agreed a €35 million (£29.2m) deal with Lecce in the final week of the January window which saw Dorgu become the first signing of Ruben Amorim’s reign.

Patrick Dorgu and Ayden Heaven moved to Man United during the winter transfer window and they'll be hoping to make their debuts on Friday in the FA Cup.
