VDOT’s 511 traffic map shows most roads in light blue (minor impact, some icy patches) or dark blue (moderate impact, snow covered) as of 7 a.m. Saturday.

People are encouraged to travel at slower speeds if they have to go on the road. Drivers are also encouraged to leave space between vehicles and use extra caution. Although the snow is moving out of central Alabama, many roads across the state are still treacherous for travel.The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) has provided a county-by-county update of road condition across the state.
