Shares are mixed in Asia after U.S. stocks edged back from their all-time high, with many regional markets closed for lunar new year holidays.

Shares of Meta Platforms ( META 1.74%) and Salesforce ( CRM -0.23%) soared 350% and 115%, respectively, over the last two years. That price appreciation makes both companies stock-split candidates in 2025. More importantly, Wall Street is generally bullish on Meta Platforms and Salesforce, and certain analysts anticipate material upside.

Micron (NASDAQ: MU) makes memory chips and storage for phones and computers. However, these chips can also be used for data centers and it is now one of the key players in the AI business. The stock is down 24% from its peak but analysts are eyeing a massive rebound here.

Wall Street is pointing slightly lower in early trading but is on track to close the week with solid gains on healthy quarterly earnings reports from large U.S. corporations.

Dan Ives is not alone in selecting Nvidia as a top stock pick for 2025. Harsh Kumar at Piper Sandler recently wrote, "We are making Nvidia our top large-cap pick given the company's dominant position in AI accelerators and the upcoming launch of the Blackwell architecture."
