Oct 6, 2008 · I believe one of the reasons this is happening is because you might have downloaded the 3.0 software via torrent etc. This means that the redsn0w doesn't recognize the hacked 3.0 software. It only recognizes the Apple Developed 3.0 software. Try putting your ipod in recovery mode and then restore. It will restore with the Apple 3.0 software. THX!
