During their encounter in the Back Lands after leaving the Pride Lands, the Lion Guard encounter Makucha's Leap and are eventually trapped in a Harmattan. Finding no other choice, Kion entrusts Makucha with guiding him out of the Back Lands to get to the next landmark.
