Sep 21, 2020 · Hello! My Xfinity xr15 remote isn't working. When I press down on either the volume controls or mute button, the light just turns red. It is not low battery because the remote control is at 96%. I have tried resetting the tv box and re pairing the remote but it doesn't work. Everything else like channels and buttons do work.

Oct 12, 2022 · I got TV and internet (X1) about a year ago. I set up the Xfinity provided remote control to mock my TV's remote. That is, to turn the TV on and off, and to control volume. I got a new TV, and now the Xfinity remote will no longer adjust volume or turn the TV/Xfinity box on or off. I have to use both remotes now.

Nov 3, 2024 · The LED will blink blue three times to indicate that the remote was reset. The factory reset unpairs your remote and TV Box, so you'll need to re-pair them.
