Aug 30, 2023 · I contacted Lenovo who expressed no interest in repairing it. I was certainly willing to pay too. From what I read Lenovo will not even repair the hinges for laptops that are still in warranty. Lenovo consider any hinge issues not their fault regardless. I have found a couple of local shops that may be able to repair it.

Jan 31, 2017 · Hi, If you mean ASM P/N XXXXXXX and FRU P/N XXXXXXX, then ASM (Assembly Manufacturing) is the internal IBM/Lenovo part number, and FRU (Field Replaceable Unit) is the part number that an external supplier would use for the battery.

Stacey could supply the Prince Albert with burgers. A bit of a side line for her. Have a couple of people working there with laptops. Give it more of a relaxed feel.

Jun 10, 2015 · The thing is the OP has used 2 different laptops to get the same result, which is why they are saying it isn't the laptop. Unless it takes the same power supply and the OP is using that with the old laptop and that is the issue. Or the new laptop was on at the same time as the old one. Or the OP always has something else on without realising.
