Faculty Profile: Drs. Ted Price and Greg Dussor Drs. Ted Price and Greg Dussor left their faculty posts at the University of Arizona to join UT Dallas together in 2014. UTD appealed to both Price and Dussor because they had earned PhDs from UT Health San Antonio, and knew the UT System was very well-run, with ample resources.

Lam and Srivastava both work in the lab of associate professor Dr. Ted Price, who studies pain. Through his work there, Srivastava has researched a protein that showed up in people who had a certain type of chronic pain and also participated in a study that showed transcripts with certain DNA sequences were affected by the protein.

BBS provided so many opportunities to help me develop my research skills. BBS has prepared me very well for my next stage of education in science and medicine.
