In such a scenario it will be difficult for Leclerc to shine or be praised without someone saying it's only because Ferrari are screwing Hamilton or that the car isn't good because Hamilton isn't fast in it.
Ferrari driver frostiness at Mexico 2024 - Racing Comments
Oct 27, 2024 · Eyes of the beholder, I am looking for less of that, not more. On question of frostiness, there was Sainz early on complaining about Leclerc and what he was doing, there were the weird coldness from Leclerc right after the race, which I think is a more representative emotion as it is raw, straight from the car, once in the cool down, Leclerc can cool down and play the team game.

Dec 1, 2024 · Either Leclerc has to win in Abu Dhabi or Norris has to finish out of position for Leclerc to finish ahead of Norris in WDC, and the latter has only happened 2 times this year (Austria and today), so it's like 80-20 in favour of Norris IMO or even 85-15. Jan 1, 2024 · If Ferrari are offering Leclerc a 5 year deal and only one year for Sainz, seems to me it's obvious that they are going to solely focus on Leclerc like they did with Alonso and Vettel in the past. Unless they want to get a faster driver than Carlos in 26. Very good news.

Also, Hamilton can provide a huge experience on how winning teams are run. For Hamilton, winning a Championship with Ferrari could be a stellar way to quit the sport.

Nov 26, 2024 · Im completely guessing, but my money is on Red Bull and Merc to focus on 2026, whereas Mclaren and Ferrari to comprise 2026 design for the 2025 title. Off the back of this year, Norris & Leclerc to fight for WDC. I cant see Lewis turning up and beating Leclerc but I hope he proves me wrong.
Is Ferrari in the 2024 constructors championship hunt?
Sep 1, 2024 · Yes, Ferrari are in the constructors battle but Leclerc is not in the hunt for the drivers title. In order to achieve that Ferrari would need to have the best car, bullet proof reliability, win 90% of the remaining and rely on McLaren to continue taking points off Verstappen. Or hope for a Verstappen DNF or 2. Just too many things need to click.

Button's Top 3 Drivers of 2024 - Racing Comments
Dec 2, 2024 · Both Ferrari drivers have been very consistent, might not be all the P2s and P3s of Lando but they were always just behind and that's something given Mclaren have had a far superior car. I would salivate at Ferrari getting the WCC because I think they thoroughly deserve it and the Leclerc / Sainz combination is the best they've had in years.
